Americans Have a Positive Outlook of the Nation's Economy, Healthcare, Education, War and Energy Supply and Creation in the next Presidency

majority of Americans believe that top national concerns will improve in the next 4 years

Flemington, NJ, January 16, 2009 – A study conducted among 3,772 participants revealed that most Americans believe the top national issues and concerns will improve over the next 4 years with President Barack Obama in office.  The top issues we asked respondents to focus on included the nation’s economy, healthcare coverage, education system, the war in Iraq and energy supply and creation.

The study was conducted by HCD Research from January 13-15 to obtain Americans’ perceptions of President-elect Barack Obama and how they feel his presidency will affect top national concerns. A follow-up study with the same participants will be conducted on January 20, 2009 after the Presidential Inauguration airs.  Please visit mediacurves.com on this day to view these results.  We are expected to report within a few hours after the conclusion of the Inauguration.

The participating registrants were asked questions on these top issues and how they perceive each issue will or will not change over the next presidency.  We also asked more detailed questions specific to their perceptions of President-elect Barack Obama.  After the Inauguration airs, our registrants will be asked the same questions to see if the Inauguration had any affect on their perceptions of Barack Obama and his presidency.
